Description:

The Pass is a unique place. In 10 exhibitions, you can play, learn, touch, dream, and most of all have fun. Discover how the world changes, how the different sciences and technologies influence our everyday life. Enjoy nature in the 28-hectare park. Take a walk on the slag heap or take your children to the playground. The Pass is situated on the historical site of a former coal mine. It was renovated by the architect Jean Nouvel. Its exceptional architecture is really worth a detour.
The Pass: 10 exhibitions on the most varied subjects. Don't miss the Palace of Images! You will discover the film "Is there a future for the future?" and "H2O !" shown on 5 giant sides of a cube to understand the challenges of sustainable development.

Opening periods:

  • from Tuesday 28 September 2010 to Thursday 23 December 2010 (except on: Wednesday)
    • sat, sun and bank holidays : 12:00-18:00
    • on weekdays : 09:00-16:00
    • school holidays (every day) : 10:00-18:00

Comment:

All year round there are events and animations organised at the Pass: Loustixs (Festival of shows for a Young Audience of the Pass), Robotix's, temporary exhibitions, summer season, ... discover everything that's happening at the pass on the site below.

Closed on 24, 25, 31/12 and 01/01. Annual closure: consult the website.
Belgian school periods, from 9 am to 4 pm during the week (closed on Wednesday), from 12 pm to 6 pm during the weekend and on public holidays.
Belgian school holidays: daily from 10 am to 6 pm.

Exhibition and animations in FR, NL, EN.

Access: by car E19 Brussels-Paris, exit Frameries/Le Pass via R5 and N544. Free car park.
B-excursion (train + bus + entrance with a discount) available (Info in all Belgian train stations).

Extra information:

2010 is symbolic year: the Pass exists 10 years!
For this anniversary the PASS has completely renovated the Pass'erelle, and it organises diverse and festive events. Visit the website for more information.

Free of charge for children younger than 6 years.

Group rates (min. 20 pers.): € 10,- per person. Fixed rates and combined visits possible.
