Situated on the site of Napoleon's last victory, which occurred on 16 June 1815, the Napoleonic Museum of Ligny tells the history of the great Emperor and the battles he fought in 1815. This old farm, which has served as hospital after the battle, has maintained its old character. The SI has fitted out the Museum of Napoleon. Next to visiting the museum, you can also go for a walk across the battlefield.
01/11 to 31/03: open by appointment.
Guided visits for groups and of the battle field can be organised on request.
Leaflet of the marked historic tour across the battle field is available at the museum.
Every year, the 1st weekend of June: The Napoleonic Days (bivouac, reconstruction, procession).
