Liège aquarium-museum is a journey through the nautical and animal worlds. Discover fish from around the world and the riches of the animal kingdom.

This scientific and tourism centre, dedicated to the aquatic world and the biodiversity of animals, is situated on the Quai Édouard Van Beneden, only 7 minutes from the Liège-Guillemins TGV station.

The Aquarium: 2500 fish from all over the world

The Aquarium's 46 tanks house close to 2500 fish. Discover the legendary piranhas, clown fish in their anemones, blind carnivorous fish, stonefish, etc. Not forgetting the blacktip reef sharks or the catsharks.

Legendary piranhas, electric fish, clownfish and anemone, blind fish, lungfish, stonefish, pikes, perches, and other local fish... And let's not forget the fascinating sharks or the baby dogfish.

The museum: 1000m² dedicated to the biodiversity of animals

In the museum you will discover the riches and beauty of the animal kingdom.

20000 specimens preserved, stuffed or skeletons: from the smallest flea to the largest whale, including an anaconda, spiders, shells, a stuffed bear or even the chimpanze and other primates.

The Aquarium is open every day of the year except 24, 25 and 31 December, and 1 January.
