Opening and free visits of the Royal Palace in Brussels. Discover this splendid building in 2013.

This imposing building is big enough to hold great crowds and was commissioned by Leopold II. Architect Alphonse Balat was put in charge of the creation of the palace and it was finished in 1865.

You can also wander around the rooms, corridors and monumental stairs. Contemplate the invaluable collections of art works and decorations, collected from all the continents and eras.

The 2012 Exhibit was "Science and Culture at the Palace"

For several years now, this unmissable event is the occasion for the King and Queen to promote art, culture and sciences.

Two exhibitions were presented in 2012:

Face to Face
This exhibit, invented by the federal policy makers, was dedicated to the faces and masks of different cultures.

Visitors could observe pieces from the collections of the Royal Museum for Central Africa, the Royal Museums of Art and History and Royal Museums of Fine Arts.
