Cinema is meant to help you dream, escape reality. It can also engage, force a different way of think, denounce what is happening elsewhere in the world. In other words: force the audience into finding their conscience. The Ramdam Festival, in Tournai, offers 10 days of screenings (documentaries, short films, long features...) to do so.
This festival aims at helping the public discover new angles and therefore presents films who will shock, maybe even make you feel uncomfortable. Some might call them scandalous. It's not about choosing a side but discussing, understanding to better understand the world around us.
